Here’s something we can personally endorse as being super valuable and amazingly informative. How can we do that? We’ve attended a FAST XFI 101 class put on by EFI University and came away amazingly well informed and impressed at how the class was conducted to fit virtually anyone’s experience and comfort level with EFI. When Chad attended the deal at Westech a couple of years ago, he was interested to see how the FAST system compared to the other EFI setups he was familiar with and he came out raving about the instruction, the nature of the teaching, and how seemingly everyone that was there left well equipped to get their own EFI journey off on the right foot.
From the basics of how to get your first EFI equipped running and baseline tuned to tips and tricks with using the system’s software, and tons of advice from experienced instructors who have “been there and done that”, this is some high quality learning time on a subject we all love…engines! We’re not going to lie to you, we were big fans and think that this course has a ton of value for anyone getting into the world of electronic fuel injection as a hobbyist or as a professional. Memphis, TN – The balance of the 2014 XFI Training Class schedule has been released, with programs slated for Louisiana and Tennessee in August and September, respectively.
Each year FAST XFI 101 Training Classes provide novices, serious tuners and everyone in between with an extensive one-day crash course on the ins and outs of tuning and setting up FAST XFI and XFI 2.0 Fuel Injection Systems utilizing C-Com software. The staff at EFI University, the group that puts on each class, has recently announced two more classroom training sessions for the late summer and early fall season. The first is slated to take place from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16th, at Ryan’s Performance in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The second course will be held at the COMP Cams and FAST R&D Center in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday, September 20th. It is also scheduled for 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Each class features an in-depth discussion about each sensor and actuator, as well as their functions, with emphasis on interaction between students and instructors. Classes are taught by racer and tuning guru Brian Macy, along with members of the FAST technical support staff.
