The boys and girls at Holley are deep in development mode on a new throttle body for LS2 and LS3 engines and they are looking for test vehicles in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area. That’s right, if you live and cruise in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area you could be a part of this test and receive a free throttle body for loaning Holley your car. Basically they want to do drivability testing on the local road and maybe a little testing on the chassis dyno as well. The engine car be stock, but Holley would prefer engines equipped with Holley or F.A.S.T intakes.
If you live reasonably close to Holley HQ and own an LS-powered car (or truck), take advantage of this opportunity to get some killer cutting edge new parts for the cost of loaning your car out for a day or two. Like the bank guy used to say on the radio, “Its the biggest no-brainer in the history of Earth!”

*Chosen candidates will receive their choice of the throttle body being tested or a $500.00 certificate for Holley products.
Requirements:
• This throttle body will be installed at Holley’s facility in Bowling Green Kentucky by Holley technicians. Candidates must be within reasonable driving distance of this facility.
• Vehicle requirements:
o LS engine with LS2 or LS3 type intake that accepts a standard 4 bolt throttle body
FAST or Holley Hi-Ram intakes are preferred
Stock intakes do qualify as well
o Current throttle body must be cable drive (cannot be drive-by-wire)
o Must be a street drivable vehicle
o Normally aspirated, supercharged, and turbocharged vehicles all qualify
o Big cam engines are preferred, but not required
o Scheduling is expected to be The first of May
Once the vehicles are chosen, their installation day will be scheduled. Weekdays will be preferred, but other allowances can be made. The vehicle will need to be at Holley at 7:00 AM. Holley technicians will install the throttle body and adjust idle and any other required variables. The vehicle will be driven locally for drivability evaluation. If required, technicians may set up a dyno run. This is a drivability evaluation, not performance testing, so there will not be performance comparisons preformed. The intent is for all testing be concluded by the end of that day and the Holley throttle body to remain on the vehicle when it leaves. If preferred by the vehicle owner or required by the technicians, then the original throttle body will be reinstalled before the vehicle leaves the testing.
Wow, wish I had an LS. Not. Rats. Wish they needed a Mopar for something, I’d help ’em out!
That piece shown looks like it was build by RP, probably by Fused Deposition Modeling. Cool.
I wish I had a cable between my pedal and throttle.
You actually make it appear so easy with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be actually one thing that I believe I might never understand. It seems too complicated and very huge for me. I’m taking a look forward for your subsequent submit, I will attempt to get the cling of it!
