This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the city of Bowling Green, Kentucky and more specifically Beech Bend Raceway will be packed to the rafters with the coolest, most powerful, and fastest LS-powered cars in the country as the Holley LS Fest is run once again. Chad has been a part of the deal since the beginning and starting this year, Brian will be part of the crew, too. That’s right. You’ll not be able to escape the voices of BangShift as you cruise the event as we’ll be yelling about the Autocross, drag races, engine swap contest, drifting, and all of the other killer events…mostly at the same time! If you are within 500 miles of Bowling Green and you haven’t planned your trip, you better start. For those of you traveling in from all over the country, we’re excited to meet you and see you pound on your cars!
The LS fest has become the premier LS-centric event in the country. The sheer number of things a participant can do makes it one hell of a weekend. There’s a country cruise, drag race, autocross, 3S challenge, engine swap challenge, show and shine, dyno challenge, drifting challenge, swap meet, and a whole additional series of specialty events within the established contests. Every year this thing has grown by leaps and bounds and according to the people at Holley, there’s more buzz, interest, and pre-registered cars than ever before.
Chad and I can’t wait to get there! We’re excited to see the cars, meet the people, and hang out with some of the best minds in the LS world. There will be a gaggle of magazine editors there from a vast variety of publications as well, so don’t just take our word for it. They’re all into it as well!

Not going, don’t care the least about the LS.
Tired of the constant babble about LS this and LSx that.
It’s a freakn pushrod V8.
You must drive a multicam POS boat anchor ford mod motor … I’d be pissed too ..
It’s a cheap motor that responds well to mods, can make oodles of power, and gets swapped into almost anything. What’s not to love?
I’m less than 100 miles away but unfortunately my 8 1/2 month pregnant wife doesn’t think it’s a great idea. The first year, it was the weekend before my wedding, and therefore has been the weekend before my anniversary, and has kept me from going every year.
NEXT YEAR I WILL BE THERE!
Judy and I will be there.
Great thing about push rod motors …….no three foot timing chain.
Not trying to be anonymous. On the wif’s kindle at the grand kids house. We just got a forth one. Watching the other three.Hoosierl98gta
