(Photo credit: USMTS.com) – We got word from the crew at MSD yesterday that two dirt racing series had names MSD ignition products their official ignitions and we thought that was pretty neat. For years we have been telling you how MSD has ignition and now fuel injection, starting, and other electrical solutions to meet the needs of your street car, race car, truck, boat, whatever! We have been paying more attention to dirt racing so far this winter than we ever have with a few big races having been televised and all. These guys hammer on their stuff as hard or harder than drag racers and of course the environment is extremely hard on parts with lots of vibration, lots of mud and dirt flying around as well as any “incidental” contact that may come about between cars during the action. MSD products have proved themselves to be reliable and dependable in these situations (and lots of others) so we’re glad to see these racing series working with the company. In addition to the “official” status, MSD will be posting certificate awards for the series and it sounds like prizes for the top five finishers. We love companies who support the racers who support them and MSD is doing it loud and proud!

MSD named Official Ignition of USMTS and USRA Racing Series
El Paso, Texas; February 17, 2014 – MSD of El Paso, Texas, is excited to be the Official Ignition for the 2014 United States Modified Touring Series as well as the United States Racing Association.
