New Product: Rocket Racing Wheels Adds New Bolt Patterns to Their Wheel Lineup!

Rocket Racing Wheels has announced that they’ve added 5″x5″ and 5×5.5″ bolt patterns to some of their wheel offerings. We think that this is a great move as there’s got to be hundreds of thousands of hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, and classic trucks rolling around with axles that utilize those patterns. The 5×5″ pattern covers millions of GM, Ford, and Chrysler axles that are swapped into projects by hot rodders all the time. We’re talking 8.5-in ring gear 10-bolts, Ford 9-inch rears, and on and on and on. The 5×5.5″ pattern is also one with lots of possible applications. Axles like the Dana 44 and Chrysler 8 3/4-inch both used that pattern and many, many older axles used by Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler.

When a wheel company makes a decision to bring additional offerings to the market, it is always a good thing because it means that you’ve got more options as a consumer. If you are in the market for wheels and you’ve got a hot rod, muscle car, truck, or custom, check out the Rocket line, especially if you looked before and didn’t see a bolt pattern in a style that worked for you. With the Rocket Injector, Rocket Igniter, and Rocket Strike now having additional bolt patterns, we’re going to see even more of them at the shows and events we visit all over the country. They’re bitchin’ wheels, so that is good news!

Scroll down to learn about the specific changes and to which wheels they have been made.

Premium Wheel Manufacturer Expands Line Of Wheels With Added Bolt Patterns In The Rocket Injector, Igniter & Strike

Chattanooga, Tenn. (October 8, 2012) – Rocket Performance Machine, a leading manufacturer of high performance and nostalgia inspired alloy wheels, announced today expanded bolt patterns in the Rocket Racing Wheels line. The new bolt patterns include 5×5 and 5×5½ in the Rocket Injector, Rocket Igniter, and Rocket Strike series.  Each style is designed to preserve the classic look and feel of the golden age hot rods, street rods, and muscle cars, while still delivering maximum style, performance and a surprisingly affordable price.

As each Rocket Racing Wheel comes to market, the backspacing and offsets are carefully chosen and proven to fit on more specific types of muscle car, street rod, hot rod, and trucks. This gives enthusiasts the ability to pick a perfectly sized set of wheels without breaking the bank or waiting weeks or months for the finished product.

Man I wish you’d make some 16″ and 17″ versions of these wheels. I’d love to stick some Ignitors on my Fox body Mustang.
