Frank Fragola introduces this video and having had the opportunity to meet Frank a few years back while spending the day at Fragola for a story in Hot Rod Magazine and again last winter when I visited the plan myself. I can tell you that the man lives the business. He knows that when you are considering where to get your fittings, hose ends, or thinking of where you should have your hoses pressure tested for NHRA certification you consider a lot of stuff. You consider where the products are made, you consider HOW the products are made, and you consider the experience that others have had with the products. The best news we can give you about Fragola is that everything is made in Connecticut by a dedicated staff of people, many of which have been employees for decades, and that we’ve never found a single person who has anything sideways to say about Fragola.
You know the difference between cut and rolled threads, you know the difference between the stock that the actual parts are machined from, and you know the difference between something that was produced here by steel that was made here and something that was literally thrown out the back of a factory in a foreign country with no accountability, no QC, and no recourse when it fails. Fittings and hose ends are not the kinds of parts that people lay awake dreaming about (unless you are Frank Fragola) but they are the kinds of parts that you depend on to keep you safe and to have a zero percent failure rate on your race car at high speeds and high stress.
It may sounds like we’re bragging on these guys and that’s only because we are. We love the fact that they are in New England and we love the fact that they are still making their products “the hard way” to maintain impeccable quality standards.
