Win Stuff: The RideTech, “Heading To Barrett Jackson” Contest IS ON! You Can Win By Commenting On This Blog Item!

As we told you earlier in the week, the famed “Grouchy” ’33 from RideTech that has carved up road courses and autocross events all across our great land s heading to be auctioned off at the Barrett Jackson next week. The car will hit the stage on Saturday and we’re expecting there to be lots of people bidding and lots of interest in what has to be the hardest core handling hot rod ever built. The good news is that you can win stuff from RideTech by participating in this contest. But how? Where? What do I do?! First off, stop panicking.

There are two ways to win. The first is to be the first to correctly guess the sale price of Grouchy. GUESSES NEED TO BE MADE IN THE COMMENT SECTION OF THIS BLOG POST HERE ON BANGSHIFT OR ON THE RIDETECH FACEBOOK PAGE WHICH YOU CAN CHECK OUT HERE. GET YOUR GUESSES IN NOW. ONCE THE CAR SELLS WE WILL CHECK THE FB PAGE AND THE COMMENTS ON THIS BLOG ITEM TO DETERMINE A WINNER! — The person who correctly guesses this number will be awarded a sweet embroidered RideTech jacket and a sweet build book on Grouchy the ’33.

The second is to pay attention to the auction and know the sale price. On Monday and Tuesday following the auction, when you mention the sale price of the car when placing your order, you’ll receive 10% off.

SO THERE IT IS, TWO WAYS TO WIN WITH RIDETECH! GET THOSE GUESSES IN AND WE’LL BE WATCHING ALONG WITH ALL OF YOU TO SEE WHAT THE CAR SELLS FOR!

SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THE DETAILS AND MORE INFO ABOUT THE AUCTION!

I don’t see one often but at 63yrs. old that rides beautiful .Reminds me of the 96 all black v- max yamaha.Wish you the best at 187, 500 $.

I have seen this ride in person and watched Bret throw it around the corners at a few shows. It’s a great car. I am terrible at guessing bids.

    $72,000.

It’s essentially an old kit car with the wee driven out of it. It shouldn’t go for over $40,000.00. But who knows how far the auction/alcohol “fevers” will take it.

(At least I now know of ~35 people with whom not to trust my checkbook (or a bidder number . . . . )

BTW, those tiny headlamps are U-G-L-Y . . . Just sayin.

The amount people are guessing that this thing goes for is truly scary.

It might perform good – but in my opinion its DOG UGLY.

Call me old school – but whilst I can appreciate quality workmanship, I wouldn’t own this car for nothing.

Sure its got a lot of expensive/brand name bits on it to make it perform – But IMO its still BUTT UGLY.
