We wanted to send a quick note of congratulations to Steve Matusek, Chuck Samuel, Larry Larson, and the rest of the crew at Aeromotive for their big win at the 2012 Throwdown at T-Town. Steve wheeled the twin turbo Roush/Yates powered machine to its best weekend of the year, laying down several laps in the 3.90 range (eighth mile) while working through a tough field of Pro Mods in Tulsa.
This win gives the guys some great momentum as they look toward the final Pro Mod contest of the NHRA season. Larry, Chuck, and Steve have been working hard on this combo all year and the fruits of their labor were on display this weekend. It is always cool to see that moment when “IT” happens to a team and as we were able to live stream it to the world, lots of you saw “IT” happen as well.
