(Words by Charles Wickam) With winter coming not everyone has the luxury of being in a heated garage working on their hot rod project. When cabin fever is setting in waiting for the days to be warmer and longer, and your project patiently waits for your return, what could you possibly do to pass the time? You could go down to your local mega merch store, buy some paint and materials and grab your trusty helmet and try your hand at custom painting, that’s what. Don’t have a helmet? Use a valve cover, or the door to your garage fridge, or whatever else isn’t bolted down that you can splash some paint on.
Follow along as Taylor shows you some really cool and easy techniques for giving your helmet a cool unique look and make the fellow racers at the track jealous of your kickass helmet. I know I will be trying them myself since I’ll be needing a helmet from my drag and drive project truck.
