Tommy Lee Byrd, The Hot Rod Hoarder, is back at it with his 9-year-old daughter on a project that just might be the perfect first step to her flipping vehicles. And while she may only be 9, if she wanted in on this project she was going to have to bring her own money to the table, and she certainly did. Tommy is pretty good at this stuff, but buying a vehicle that needs work, so you can repair it and sell it for profit, is always a gamble. In this video, he shares his knowledge, his opinions on what is important, and his experience in doing this so that you can really see what it is all about.
I love Tommy’s channel anyway, but these projects with his 9-year-old sidekick are extra cool and special. Watch and let us know what you think.
Video Description:
This 1973 Honda CL350 motorcycle sat disassembled for many years. Will it run again? I’m introducing my daughter to the thrill of buying a cheap vehicle and selling it for a profit. These types of things are a GAMBLE, but we came out pretty good on this one. Watch as we get this thing running, and then re-assemble it. Overall, this motorcycle has a cool survivor look, and has all the right elements for a great project bike. We had a blast fooling with this thing, and cashed in to make a great profit for me and my 9 year old sidekick.
