I hate messes in the shop, which would surprise you if you saw the inside of mine most of the time. Like most of us, I too am amazingly adept at finding something to sit on every available horizontal surface. This means that tools are always sitting on benches. Now this is acceptable while actually working on something, but when done things need to go back to their home. My tool box is huge, it has drawers for everything, but there are some things I don’t want in drawers because they are awkward or inconvenient. Such is the case with most air tools. They take up a lot of space, are weird shaped, and end up piled in a drawer that you have to dig through every time you want something. This DIY air tool holder will solve that, and we’re going to make one for our shop really really soon.
Check it out, and send in your finished versions. Or…send us what you use instead!
Those look like carpentry tools, nail guns NOT automotive.
I won’t be hanging my air-driven – oil lubricated air tools like that ever as I do not want all the lubrication pooling at one end and starving lubricated surfaces on the other.
This idea, while looks good, sucks. Common sense Boys.
That\’s a better idea than anything I\’ve had lately. It would be a breeze to punch that out in aluminum sheet.
I have a place for my air tools.
In my toolbox.
