Bead rolling is one of those things that really does make a huge difference in both the strength and appearance of sheetmetal parts for your projects. Do it half assed and you can still get the good strength, but it might not look so great. Do it right, like Urchfab is about to show how, and you can lay out and make awesome bead roll patterns that take your project to the next level. I don’t have one in the shop but want one BAD and know that we’ll have to get one once we get to the sheetmetal phase of Cole’s LUV truck project to make floors and other cool stuff look and function as good as possible. This is NOT a high end bead roller. Because of that it isn’t the most bad ass unit ever, but it will do simple and clean patterns if you plan them out correctly.
Watch as Urch explains how it works, the rollers, how to lay out a roller pattern, and then how to pull off exactly what you want. This isn’t rocket science if you just pay attention and measure.
Watch and learn.
