There are several ways to shrink and stretch sheet metal but regardless of the methods the principles are the same with regards to what you need to do in order to get the metal to move in the direction you want. What confuses people sometimes is knowing how to measure and plan the shaping so that you get a predictable shape when done. This isn’t always super important, but for this project the transition from the transmission tunnel to the foot well requires a certain shape to match the two together.
