More TIG Welding How To For Beginners: Fillet Joint Welding, Tips, And Tricks

This TIG Welding For Beginners series has been really great so far, with lots of easy to digest information and practical advice that can have you TIG welding in no time. Sure it is going to take practice, and lots of it, but that is what makes a welder into a great welder. If you don’t try it you will never be good at it. And if you don’t spend some time getting your mojo and muscle memory going, then you are going to be a mediocre welder. And as my grandpa used to say, “You either need to be a good welder, or a good grinder!” I choose to be good at the welding part.

In this video it is all about fillet welds, which in some ways are some of the easier welds to do, but doing them really cleanly and nice does take some practice and the use of good methods. There are some tips and tricks that will make life easier, and you can’t forget to implement them. I can’t tell you how many people I know that have had issues TIG welding because they weren’t willing to clean the material. You can’t get really nice welds without material that has at least been cleaned properly.

But that isn’t the only lesson here. Check out the video and let us know what you think.
