He’s back at it. Dan is once again doing something that most people would find strange at least, and wreckless by some accounts. Of course this is what we love about him, because he gives zero f’s about convention and does what needs to happen. People thing that pulling a tow dolly behind a Nomad is weird, but in the 1960’s it was a regular occurrence to see wagons and 4-door sedans pulling trailers, dollies, or using a tow bar to haul a car. Hell, in 1968 and 1969 my dad towed his ’68 Camaro race car with a tow bar and towing hubs behind his 4-door 1958 Chevrolet Del Rey. Come on people, this isn’t weird, it’s just fun. Watch.
Video Description:
It’s been a long 10 days, that started off with 1700 miles from Winnipeg to Atlanta. Then we wrenched on a 1957 Chevy for three long days. Then we drove five days, and over 1000 miles, through small town America for Power Tour.
The fun is almost over, and now it’s time to head north and drive for three days home.
But before we head north, we check out and buy a terrible, gross, ugly, unreliable disaster of a car. Tow dolly behind a 1955 stick shift Nomad. What could possibly go wrong?
Can you guess what we are bringing north with us?
