The Upholstery Tips Channel Shows How To Make A Simple And Custom Headliner From Scratch

I watch the Upholstery Tips YouTube Channel pretty regularly. After all, I don’t know how to upholster things and I also can’t afford to have an entire interior done. This means that when it is time for me to do a complete interior I’m going to need to know what parts I can do myself vs the parts that I’ll have to pay someone to do. I’ve learned some of those things through this channel already. But what about a custom headliner in something big like this Lincoln?

If you are going to replace the stock headliner with something else that is stock, or similar, then you can use reproduction parts if they are available. But if you want custom, or the reproduction parts aren’t available, then you might need to use something like this to build your own custom headliner. I think I could pull off a project like this, maybe with a little simpler design, but I think I could at least make a good try of it after watching this.

Watch the step by step, see what you think, and be inspired to try something out in your own ride.

Would you try some interior work of your own?

Even if you aren’t, knowing how it is done will help you better understand what you are talking about with your upholstery person and help make the right choice when choosing an upholstery shop too.
