Who Makes The Best Tire Shine? Testing Them For Glossiness, Oiliness, Dirt Resistance, Sling, And More!

Who Makes The Best Tire Shine? Testing Them For Glossiness, Oiliness, Dirt Resistance, Sling, And More!

When I was younger I was a tire shining fool. I’d wash my truck every Friday afternoon, by hand, and would clean the glass, use protectant on the dash and door panels, vacuum, and shine the hell out of the tires. But depending on which tire shine you used, you’d need to factor in drying time which meant you’d have to plan out the order of things. Otherwise, as soon as I drove out of the gravel driveway they would be all dusted up. And if you put on too much, didn’t let it dry, or were using the wrong stuff, it would sling and splatter all over the side of the truck.

I remember when several brands went from being a spray you used with a rag, to a spray that you used with a sponge they came with. And then some of them came out that had a sponge applicator on top of the bottle. Regardless of how you put it on, if the liquid wasn’t good it would still be a pain.

So when I saw this testing video from Project Farm, I knew I had to share it. Let’s see who’s got the best tire shine!

Video Description:

Brands: Adams, Black Magic, Armor All, Jay Leno’s Garage, Meguiar’s, Chemical Guys, 303, Car Guys, ExoForma, and Cerakote. Tire shine products compared for glossiness, oiliness, stickiness, hydrophobic qualities, resistance to dirt, dust, and mud. I purchased all of the tire shine products and supplies to ensure an unbiased review. So, thank you for supporting the channel!
