Why Did It Take 65 Years to Make a New Socket Extension, And Does It Actually Make A Difference In The Shop?

Tools have changed a lot over the years, but some hand tools really never seem to. Stuff like screwdrivers, sockets, and extensions all seem pretty much the same with the exception of the random creative new product. But is there room for improvement on some of these tools? I mean does a 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch extension need improvement? Does the power of all these crazy impact guns now mean the answer is yes?

It’s about time someone made SOMETHING new and different with impact extensions. They all lose torque, and we’re use to that, but as high torque impacts get more beastly by the year they are losing more and more, so it’s time brands offer another options. Not to replace all your tools, but to afford you a better shot at doing what these tools advertise.
