If you do anything with metal, then you have a need to clean it before or after working with it. And whether you use a grinder with some abrasive or another, a DA sander, scotchbrite pads, wire wheels, or hand sanding, depends on what you have to remove from the material itself. Unfortunately, many of the options above are either not aggressive enough, or too aggressive, and if you don’t use the right one you can really make more work for yourself.
I’ve been guilty of it plenty of times and can say that if you have something with paint or light rust that needs removed, then these stripper discs are amazing. They will save you lots of time and energy, and they will produce nice clean results that are ready to shape, weld, or prep.
