The Boys Are Back…Kind Of. Clarkson, Hammond And May Are Doing A Live Tour, Plus Show Rumors

The Boys Are Back…Kind Of. Clarkson, Hammond And May Are Doing A Live Tour, Plus Show Rumors

Raise your hand if you’ve been suffering withdrawals ever since Jeremy Clarkson got drunk and smacked a producer around a little. Yeah, me too. I’m not bound so much to TopGear (in fact I might be the rare fan that actually liked every version I could watch) but the interaction between Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond is pretty unique to the world of entertainment. Sadly, all three plus former producer Andy Wilman no longer have a contract with the BBC, with May, Hammond and Wilman bowing out and Clarkson either fired or relieved from presenter duties, depending on which side of the story you are on. This has left a huge gap with fans who are hesitating to accept anybody else other than the three Musketeers, but good news! The trio will tour Europe and Australia this year as “Clarkson, Hammond and May Live” and it doesn’t look like they have skipped a solitary beat:

As far as the trio returning to the smaller screen, two major players have come out of the pile of people wanting to cash in on their success: Netflix and ITV. What isn’t known is which one of the two is winning at this point. Netflix will undoubtedly charge for the privilege of watching their show, which favors ITV. But ITV relies on corporate sponsorship, which won’t bode well for guys who tend to be critical of cars. Imagine Jaguar wanting to stay on board after Jeremy notes that the XJ has a strange arse…even stranger than a Kardashian’s. Personally, we’re rooting for Netflix if for no other reason, that we get the trio fully unrestricted, language and all. Hide your Morris Marinas, they’re back.

Let the marketing games [ scams ] begin . Cause … oh look … the threesome is back together … now threatening a NetFlix series [ thats across the board and not just a rumor by the way ]

So yeah … all bets are .. be it called Top Gear or something else …. they’ll be back on BBC and BBCA before ya knows it … all forgiven … past transgressions forgotten … all is good

Damn … I knew i was right and should of never caved to the tyranny of the masses . This has all been a massive publicity stunt by the BBC and Top gear Inc from the get go

The only real question is … when and where will it finally all land ?

As the saying goes “money talks and bullshit walks!”. I’ve been watching them for about 10 yrs now and it never gets old.

    I’m looking forward to this.
I’ve been rewatching ManLab constantly since Top Gear got pulled.
I wouldn’t mind a rehash of Motorworld or Meet the Neighbors, but with all three.
