There are three generations of C series trucks. The original, and often forgotten, started in 1960 and went until 1966. The C series everyone always seems infatuated with, the 1967-1972 models, came after and had a much more round style. The 1973-1987, referred to as the Square Body, followed and would be the last of the C10, 20, and 30 body styles with the exception of Suburbans and Crew Cabs which hung on for a few more years. Technically there was one more generation, the 1988-1998 C1500, 2500, and 3500, but most people don’t really think of them as part of the C series. With that said, these 4 generations of Chevy pickup are our favorites. And they are some of Jason and Marcel’s favorites as well.
But who the hell are they? Well, they are the guys from Auto Revolution and they are having a Clash of C10s. Marcel is building a 2nd Gen and Jason is going Square Body and that means the rivalry is on! Okay not really, but the show highlights how you make both of them cool, low, and bitchin.
Check it out. The first video is a recap of where they went on Part 1, taking Marcel’s truck from Longbed to Shortbed in a day thanks to the guys at Brother’s Truck Parts.
