When we ran across a story about mud-bogging websites being covered in the New York Times, we knew something interesting had to be going on. It’s not like the paper would (Heaven forbid!) send a reporter to actually cover a gathering of 4×4 enthusiasts.
Nope, this story, from the paper’s “tech” section, is a look at how the Internet can still be a shady place to do business. In this case, things went awry with a website called (and we’re not making this up) MyMudSpace.com.
The two guys that owned the site had a falling out and a new site splintered off from the original, started by one of the partners.
It’s a good read and a great way to kill time on a Friday. Click here for the whole story.
