The Story of the Grave Digger Monster Truck

The Story of the Grave Digger Monster Truck

The story of Dennis Anderson and his old Chevy panel truck named Grave Digger is pretty cool. The truck is probably as well known as Bigfoot is and even moreso with younger generations of kids. Anderson made a business decision several years ago to align himself with Clear Channel who the owned the “Monster Jam” series that blankets the country. The result is that hs trucks and image are on television and in front of tens of thousands of people a week.

Like Bob Chandler, the man behind Bigfoot, Anderson is a character and a self made guy. Starting out with mud bogging trucks in his native North Carolina, Anderson managed to, like Chander, keep building larger and larger trucks, unil he was ready to start crushing cars and put on shows.

We ran across a great story that details the rise of Grave Digger over at Bleacherreport.com. If you like the high-flying trucks like we do, it is worth a read!
