The guys at Mad Media are up to their old tricks again. The Martelli Brothers have made some of the coolest off-road videos we have ever posted on BangShift (and we have posted a few!) but this time they are even topping themselves it seems.
Race Motion is a slow motion, cinematic series of films that captures the machines and terrain of the 2020 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400. This race which has such great off-road competition legacy and history continues to be one of the “big ones” that every off-road competitor wants to have on their resume. Unlike the Baja 1,000 the Mint 400 is practically a sprint race and the driving style that is exhibited by the top level competitors reflects that.
Outside of the sheer art and beauty of seeing the sport presented in slow motion with the natural surrounds that the racers compete in, the slow motion has another benefit. We get to watch the mind-boggling capabilities of the suspensions that these trucks and buggies use displayed in ways we have never watched before. Just paying attention to the travel and the way that machines soak up the terrain is amazing.
