We’ve got to thank Joe Grippo for tipping us off to this awesome collection of muscle car and drag racing photos from the 1960s. They were taken in the New England area and show guys horsing around with their cars, a bunch of historically significant drag race cars, and action from New England tracks like New England Dragway, Connecticut Dragway, and perhaps Lebanon Valley Dragway.
The best part about these, in our opinion anyway, is that they aren’t professional shots. They are just photos taken buy a guy who was there at the time. Some of the angles are bad, fronts and rears of cars are clipped off, maybe the light isn’t the greatest, but these are some of the best photos you’ll see anywhere! There’s an honesty and genuine nature about them that defies description.
Make sure you go all the way through these babies. There are killer surprises around every corner!

My old man(doug levinson) just passed away he used to tell me about the old days of drag racing in NE. He told me about being friends with Bill flynn I believe,who owned the yankee peddler at some point,if anyone remembers my old man or the 40 willy’s he part owned please email me @[email protected],great pics by the way
