In the past week we showed you Boyd Coddington’s last custom rod for sale on eBay. Now here is a super high-dollar rod for sale from the collection of Tim Allen, best known for his role on Home Improvement. Maybe hard times are finally reaching the top ranks of wealthy car guys. Or maybe Tim is just tired of it, who knows?

The car’s build sheet reads like a who’s who of hot rod builders, from Steve Moal to Chip Foose to John Buttera, but we think it’s the interior that most makes this car stand out. The eBay auction lists the car as a 1932 Model A Track T, but it seems the car can only be one of the three. They say it’s registered as a ’32, but the body is all custom coachwork.

It will be intersting to see how far this one goes, price-wise. As we wrote this, the bidding had reached $50,000, obviously with the reserve not met. Maybe they’d sell the guy the used motor oil for that.
