Travis Pastrana will once again try to take his own life on national television this year on New Year’s Eve. His creative attempt at reaching the after-life will involve him jumping a rally car off a pier and onto a floating barge. This is an attempt to break the record for the longest jump in a rally car.
The current record stands at 171 feet and, according to an Autoweek story, if he makes the jump it will “shatter” that record. This will be part of the Red Bull: New Year, No Limits party that has brought us wild motocycle jumps and back-flipping off road trucks in the past.
