Kyle and crew are veterans of being too close to the track with cameras in hand. And that’s only part of what they film, especially if you know how 1320Video got off of the ground in the first place. The leaps and bounds they made going from street racing videos made for the hell of it to their coverage of races and events across the world is impressive, to put it mildly, and every time we see the guys it’s a good time. They have a hell of a schedule each year, and by the end of the year they’re pouring over hour upon hour of footage to look for the “best of” moments. That takes a bit of time to do, even with the extra help, so forgive them for bringing in a late “best of 2019” video.
Crashes are one of those things you have to expect in this line of work. It happens. We never want to see anybody ball their car up or even worse, get hurt while doing what they love, but statistics don’t lie…you can only have so many good, clean runs before at some point in time luck runs out and things go south in a hurry. Sometimes it’s a case of too much throttle, too much enthusiasm, too much period. Other times, something failed and the driver has instantly turned into a passenger. Either way, everybody in this video had their safety gear set up right and lived to race another day. But some of that sheetmetal…ooof…
