Awesome Video: Dennis Anderson’s New King Sling Mud Bog Racer

Dennis Anderson is the man who made the Grave Digger monster truck famous and who signed on the dotted line when Clear Channel (who owned the Monster Jam series) wanted to buy the commercial rights to the truck. That made Anderson a very wealthy guy and it also catapulted Grave Digger past Bigfoot as the most popular monster truck in the world. Anderson is clearly a cool dude and total gearhead so it is no surprise that he has an insane new toy.

Called the “King Sling” this tube chassis mud bog truck, up on big tractor tires could be the mother of all mud racers. There is a rear-mounted, blown 540ci big block Chevy engine that sounds as though it is on alky. The motor is probably an exact replica of a monster truck engine, which would mean about 1500hp in a vehicle that looks to weigh very little. The way it ignited all four tires is totally awesome.

While there is no mud in this video there is plenty of footage of the truck flying through the air, tearing up the Earth, and slinging dirt and stones into the next county.
