While Mike Ryan will always be #1 in our big rig loving hearts with his insano antics on Pikes Peak, his tire smoking road course runs, and the incredible amount of tires he destroys on the rear of his awesome hot rodded Freightliner, Michael Becx does a hell of a job in this video behind the wheel of an 1100hp MAN truck in Germany. For six minutes you’ll see Becx slide, spin, skid, and hammer this truck around what looks to be an abandoned military base or some other seemingly deserted town. Impressively, Becx pulls of a lot of the same stunts that Ken Block has done in his various Gymkhana videos but he does it with a massive big rig. We’re not sure what they paid the guy who was standing on the plate glass that Becx spun the truck through, but it better have been more than free lunch. That’s dangerous stuff!

We dug the “parallel parking” stunt performed where Becx rotates the truck into a space barely long enough for it to fit between a passenger car and another large truck. When you start to think about the precision involved in pulling that one off, you get a whole new respect for the dude behind the wheel. Oh, spinning the tires until they explode off the rims at the end of the video is a perfect way to finish this one off as well. We’re amazed that they lived as long as they did with the amount of sheer punishment they take up to that point. Seriously, the big diesel engine doesn’t even seem to be breathing heavy when you watch the smoke clouds funnel off  of the rear fenders of this truck when Becx decides to lean his toe into it. That’s big league torque at work!

Hey we won’t ruin any more of this one with spoilers. Watch the video below and try to deny the fact that you wish it was you in there with Becx knocking through the gears and performing these precision maneuvers and stunts. Judging by some of the marks on the ground, even he needed a couple of takes to get some of the stuff right! (We bet he was having so much fun he wanted to do it all multiple times anyway!)
