Of course when one thinks of Smokey Yunick, his infamous 1966 Chevelle comes into play at some point in the day dream. That got us to thinking about Chevelle stock cars and ultimately, it led us t the video you’ll see after hitting the jump. This Chevelle is a 1964 model, and it is claimed to be running exactly as it was found in the barn.
The description of the car says that the Chevelle is powered by a 327ci SBC, which is backed with a four-speed, and a 12-bolt rear end. We’re thinking the Road Warrior look is due to more than a couple years of weekly “Saturday night thunder” short track racing back in the day. If they are really running this Chevelle around in the exact same shape that drug it out from the barn in, both the car and the peoplae are 100% BangShift approved! It sounds great when the driver lays on it coming out of the corner!
