So in this video we have a hood view of Brian Hobaugh’s gnarly sounding 1973 Camaro attacking the autocross. Brian’s orange screamer is well known and has gotten lots of ink in magazines and on the web. He has competed at the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational and lots of other events. Brian has been running autocrosses for more than two decades and his skill as a wheelman is on full display here. Watch how smoothly he weaves through the course and lust after the sound of the LS3 and G-Force transmission working!
At these events, you’ll see cars on the autocross course like we’ll see here, hot lapping a road course, participating in a braking challenge, and chewing up scenic miles on a cruise portion of the weekend. If you don’t want to jump in your car and go mangle some corners after watching this video, there is something seriously wrong with you.

Wow, I think I would have hard time following the course. I guess it takes some practice to make sense of the cones.
That’s why there are three timed runs. As one makes successive runs, the times will gradually drop and the three runs are then averaged to give an overall run time.
