We’ve heard from Bonneville Speed Week veterans that one needs to camp at bend in the road to get the full first timer’s experience. After watching this video of some hooligans having fun after dark, we’re totally into the idea. Combine a road flare with unburnt hydrocarbons exiting shorty exhaust headers and you’ve got flame based fun!
The truck used for this stunt looks to be something smashed together to troll the pits during Speed Week with a manure spreader back and totally nekkid engine compartment. We’ve never seen anyone do this with a road flare before and we’d not suggest trying it at home, but you’ve got to admit, it is kind of neat.
