Here’s a strange question: what do you do with a tank that you got in trade? Very few of us will even come close to needing to know, but a group of tank freaks in Britain will be recommending a thorough look-over first and foremost. The mechanics you will see in the video are from Tanks-A-Lot, a place in the U.K. that restores old war machines and lets people wheel them around. Recently, they took in a Type 69 tank that formerly served the Iraqi military, and per protocol, they got to work checking out every square inch to make sure that they didn’t find any surprises…and they found a couple. At first, they found machine gun ammo, nothing too surprising for a tank, but that’s when the camera got broken out to make sure that they documented any other surprising find.
And what a find they got: in a fuel tank, five gold bricks were hiding, with a value of $1.2 million. The team turned the bars over to police, who are investigating, and there is a chance that there won’t be a “finder’s percentage” involved. But it’s at least one hell of a story…even if that’s no consolation to their wallets.
They turned over five………………
Just five? Mmmm…..
Why would anyone turn that in? Morals aside, c’mon….
finders keepers…
