Brutal Torque Video: Chassis Twisting, Big Rig Wheels Up Action At The Rodeo Du Camion!

The “Rodeo du Camion” is a big event held up in Canada each summer that is a celebration of big trucks of all shapes and sizes. There are parades, parties, bands, and all of the other good stuff that comes with a summer weekend, but the main event is the series of drag races held during the show up one of the main roads in the city where the event is held. While the bobtail races certainly have more speed to them, we love the races that feature trucks laden with something like 40,000lbs of weight on a trailer or tandem trailers. Yes, they’re not breaking speed records, but rarely if ever will you see the physical manifestation of torque that these hot rodded rigs make better than in this depiction of one of these races.

We do not know the drivers involved in this showdown, but we do know that both of these trucks have been tuned WAY up and they make enough soot to block out the sun. We’re also not sure of the most important factor here, the power plants. Caterpillar, Cummins, Paccar, etc? We simply do not know. We do know that they have enough twist to make large by huge truck chassis look like spaghetti strings.

Press play and watch truly bomb-proof drive lines go to work in the world’s most brutal drag race!
