Race fuel, fried rubber, heated metal and the sound of an engine at full song…it’s what dreams are made of. How do you get your fix? Do you like the slow and methodical methods, such as the dragstrip or the road course, where these sensory triggers come in prescribed doses, or like a fiend, do you want it all at once? You should be able to guess our answer…we can smell the race fuel on the wind. We won’t, however, need to do much hunting to locate where the tire smoke is coming from, because there is only one place in the world that enjoys re-vulcanizing tires as much, if not more, than we do in North America: Australia. These people are full-blown addicts. You’d be amazed at the lengths they will go to for their next encounter with the violent, intoxicating display of a good burnout show. This latest footage is from Sydney Dragway’s Race 4 Real event…we don’t see the racing, but then again it’s difficult to see much of anything when there’s a constant fog bank floating about the place.
