Hot Rod Magazine’s Crusher Camaro has seen many engine and transmission combinations over the years. The current version is certainly a fan favorite. Decked out in 1980s spec garb and sporting a largely huffed big block in the front, the Crusher looks ready for mischief. Freiburger and Mike Finnegan recently took the car on a road trip to Arizona and documented the whole experience with the Hot Rod video crew. The result is a great 17-minute adventure of road trippin’, roadside thrashin’, and 9mpg fun.
The car is way healthy as exhibited a couple times in the video when it leaves the camera car in the dust with a couple black stripes on the pavement, at highway speeds. As we continue to freeze our asses off here at BangShift east coast HQ, we’re eternally envious of the dudes having fun in the Crusher!
