Rally Save: Mark Higgins “I Had The Biggest Moment Of My Life There” Saves It On The Isle Of Man At 150. Scary.

This is one of those videos that will make your butt pucker. It’s so close to all kinds of bad that anyone with an ounce of sense will realize it. Clearly the guy riding shotgun has not one molecule of sense because he never even blinks. Meanwhile Rally Champ Mark Higgins, who is driving, has all kinds of reactions, and they are quite entertaining. You most certainly want to watch this because the stone walls and complete lack of shoulder on most of the roads on the Isle of Man make driving at any speed a hair raising experience. The bumps make it even worse.

He was in 6th gear in a 300+ bhp USDM Subaru WRX STI and on it hard. I guess he was doing about 130 mph conservatively down what is basically the high street in a medium size town. Racing on the TT circuit takes planetary size cojones.

He makes several well thought out corrections, which is amazing at the speed he’s going. The average driver (read: dumb kid in a Sube) would already be in the wall or worse…..
