Dirt Track Wreckage Video: A Crash Involving Virtually the Entire Field!

This video of dirt modifieds wrecking in one colossal heap may lack for quality, but it more than makes up for it with calamity. Filmed at Ransomville Speedway in New York, it shows the biggest chain reaction wreck we have ever seen on a dirt oval.

Because this happened on the second lap of a race, the entire field was virtually welded together and once the first couple cars got tangled up, there was nowhere left to go but into a pile of twisted steel, rubber, and aluminum. Apparentlty there were no major injuries, aside from the race cars in the middle of the pile, which had to have been destroyed. The scariest part are the cars that leave the ballyard completely!

Press play below and prepare to cringe!

Um, perhaps have anything to do with the date in the video title? 😉 Glad to hear that no one was seriously injured, looked rough. I usually go to Ransomville for their Hangover 150 New Year’s Day enduro race, and the same kind of thing happens (usually in the middle of 1 & 2), but at much slower speeds, and the race usually continues despite the congestion.
