Dyno Video: Watch A Twin Turbo, Real Deal Steel 1934 Ford Put Down Almost 1300hp…At The Tire

There’s something awesome about a full tilt car built from original period steel. Such is the case with this radical 1934 Ford which was built by the guys at Eddie’s Chop Shop in California recently. The car just started turning tires on the track last weekend, so even this dyno video is fresh fish because the guys hit the dyno shortly before getting on the strip. The car is bad ass looking in bare steel, it has a wicked chops, a wildly aggressive stance, and NEARLY 1300HP AT THE FREAKING TIRES.

The engine in the car is a 598ci big block Chevy that has a pair of 88mm turbos hanging off of it. According to the description on the video, the dyno pull was cut short because the engine was going very lean and the guys didn’t want to melt their stuff into a puddle! We bet that there is significantly MORE power to be found in this combo once all the tuning and tweaking is largely done.

This is one mean ass steel 1934 Ford coupe!

To all my Chevy Brothers: Show some support for our Chevrolet body designer’s and chassis engineer’s ! Stop transplanting your bad ass bow tie power plant’s into ford’s stuff ! If you like ford’s so much build one but literally leave Chevy out of it ! Show some loyalty guy’s,I just don’t get it.
This twin turbo big block Chevy is bitch’n,but what it’s sitting in does nothing for me.
Anywho, see ya at the track.( I’ll be in the Chevy powered Chevy, lol)
