This video carries the ambitious title, “The History of Drag Racing.” At only three and a half minutes, the history is a bit truncated, but the footage used in the film is some of the most amazing we have ever seen. Between the cars, the people, and the drag racing Hall of Famers in this video, it is awesome.
The haunting music in the background is the perfect companion to the footage that depicts life in a presumably simpler and happier time. A time where guys dressed as Indians and tigers were on the starting line of strips just to get people wound up.
Very few people have ever seen this one before now.
