Find The Good Parts Of Snow And Ice With A Review Of Ken Block’s Cold-Weather Shenanigans

In the span of a couple of hours, BangShift Mid-West went from nearly 70 degrees and unseasonably warm to ice and snow. Literally, twenty-four hours is all it took. One day I was cruising along the Interstate with my arm hanging out of the window of the Mustang, and the next we found that the roads were sketchy even for an all-wheel-drive pickup truck. Did I ever mention that I do not like winter time? Yeah, not a fan here. But winter doesn’t always suck. Snow and ice can equate to fun times for the gearhead…powersliding in the parking lots, ice racing, drift-bashing, off-roading are absolutely fun. It’s the best reason to get out and enjoy the cold.

With most of the country enjoying a nice cold snap, now would be a good time to check out some inspiration. You know Ken Block and if you’ve paid attention to any of his stunts throughout the years you know that he isn’t afraid of the cold whatsoever. In fact, he seems to relish playing in the powder. From snowboarding to building tracked rally cars, to monster snowmobiles, Block has proven to enjoy the wintertime. And in this Hoonigan video, he reviews some of the high points from his past. Check it out!
