If this video from Ford Racing is an expose of what really happens to die-cast toys when their owners leave the house, my little abode here in Massachusetts must be the coolest place in town when no one is around. The kids have die-cast cars for days here and some of them are pretty cool makes and models. So hey, I have clearly bought into this video but then again, you are most likely smarter than I, so take it with a grain of salt.
All kidding aside the Ford Racing guys did a nice job with this video and it is a fun, quick watch. The fact that they got virtually every cool model of Mustang from the original GT350 to the Boss 302, 1968 Cobra Jet and modern Cobra Jet, along with one or two others is a nice detail that shows they spent some time thinking this out. It must have taken some time to make in stop action form as well. The header flames shooting out of John Force’s car are neat as is the detail of the “wet” pipes before the header flames are again signs that there was a “technical advisor” on this project that knew what they were looking at.
It is Friday and you need a smile and a laugh, right? Get it here, thanks to the men and women of Ford Racing who celebrated the Mustang’s birthday by making this great video.
