Watch These Two MotoGP Riders Have The Biggest Grade-School Fight On The Track You’ve Ever Seen

Racers aren’t known for excellent temper control. It’s a combination of the determination of every racer to win coupled with the usual alpha personality that is present. It’s not often that tempers flare up hard enough between racers to be seen on the track, though it has happened in the past (think Jeff Gordon in Phoenix in 2012 when he PIT-manuevered Clint Bowyer into the wall) but the footage from the MotoGP race in Argentina showcases just how fired up racers can get on-the-track. On the blue bike is Itaian rider Romano Fenati, and on the black/red bike is Niklas Ajo. While nobody is certain what caused Fenati to lose his cool, there was no doubt that he was extremely pissed with Ajo about something, because as they lapped the track he tries to kick Ajo off of his bike, then after an argument while waiting for a start, Fenati hits the kill switch on Ajo’s bike and rides off, leaving him stranded at the starting line, forcing him to try to push-start the bike. Fenati was punished with a dead-last starting position.

No matter the track, no matter the vehicle, racing is racing and with stress levels high and adrenaline flowing through everybody’s system, there’s going to be some heated moments. But hitting the kill switch on a competitor’s bike when you don’t have a reason to be mad at them is kind of a dick move, don’t you think?

I’ve been that mad in a race before. Laughing my ass off right now. Kill switch – that was awesome.
