Funny Video: This Three Wheeled Mustang Is Your Daily Moment Of Automotive Stupidity

Funny Video: This Three Wheeled Mustang Is Your Daily Moment Of Automotive Stupidity

There aren’t many youTube video titles that stop me dead in my tracks, but anything involving “Three wheel” and “Mustang” is sure to grab my attention.

This is a short clip at only sixteen seconds in length, but it’s just long enough for several burning questions and observations to enter my head, including:

– “The driver must know that they lost a wheel, right?”
– “I wonder what’s lower: The k-member or the oil pan. Has to be the k-member?”
– “That’s a lot of sparks”
– “I guess this proves once and for all that rear-wheel-drive is superior to front-wheel-drive”
– “Seriously, why is this happening?”

The video was posted to the GasOfMass youTube channel, which is based out of BS East Coast’s home state, but thanks to some fancy detective work on my end it appears that this mid-90s V6 Mustang was spotted in the Houston area (Ok fine, I Googled the “713 RU Hairy” billboard in the background of the video; not like I wrote down the number for later or anything…).

If anyone has the follow-up to this video, which I imagine would include the car bursting into flames, feel free to shoot me a link in the comments. In the meantime, here’s your daily moment of automotive stupidity, courtesy of this three wheeled Mustang driver.

Only one question comes to my mind. Just what is the driver smoking?
That leads to another question. Does he plan on sharing it? 🙂

I’m going out on a limb here and saying that drugs were somehow involved. Not just on that day but on the whole sad, dysfunctional life that led up to that day.

In Austin TX a few years ago while driving north on Mopac a Suzuki Vitara or perhaps a Sidekick blew past me at 90mph or so in a colossal shower of sparks. The front right suspension was folded under the car yet they were driving at what must have been full throttle in the fast lane. I just don’t understand how they steered it and I’m sure the brakes probably didn’t work. After thirty seconds they were too far ahead to see anymore and oddly there were no police in pursuit. I wish I knew what was going on. Likely some kind of epic stupidity.

isn’t this an episode of cops?—a surprising number of them seem to include a three(sometimes none at all) wheeled car…..

The driver had seen the same thing at a NASCAR race, thought it would work on the highway.

The scary thing about this video is that the driver may be a teen or twenty-something adult and that he or she is our future !!!! Which could explain why the world is in such crappy shape !! Or the video came from Russia which makes perfect sense !!!!!!!!

A friend of mine was driving home late one night from a wedding. He was not sober. His 1968 Pontiac Bonneville got a flat on the front driver’s side. He drove that beast over 20 miles to my house. Surprisingly, he drove through several suburban towns and never was spotted by police. When he turned the corner onto my street, sparks were flying like the wake of a speedboat!. He ended up parking it in my front yard. The wheel and brake drum were ground completely flat, and the entire A-frame was welded into one flat sheet of smoking red-hot metal.
