Git Along, Ol’ Paint: Part Two Of The Crusty Bronco’s Revival Program!

I might have been a bit harsh in calling the 1979 Ford Bronco that Kevin decided to breathe life back into for a cheap truck challenge a “trash can”. It was merely used as one. The second year of the “Project Shorthorn” Bronco had proven to be popular and a worthy competitor to the Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy and the Dodge Ramcharger/Plymouth TrailDuster, even if it had strayed a ways from it’s original Jeep-esque form. I know people who are actively searching for one of these second-generation rigs. I guarantee that they are not looking for this one. “Crispy” isn’t the word, this thing is just about ready to shed its own body at the first good bump hit at speed, the backseat is skinned with only the finest moss, and the brakes? Yeah…don’t ask questions that you don’t want the answers to, okay? Most people would remove the steering wheel, the CB radio and the engine from this thing and put it out of its misery at the far end of the field. Kevin, meanwhile, is either the angel of mercy and is giving this Bronco one last round at life before the end finally comes, or is the demon who refuses to allow it to sleep peacefully.

Either way…hey, can we get that steering wheel when the Bronco breaks in half? It’s perfect for the Great Pumpkin!
