Gonna Be Sore In The Morning: Watch As The “Buck Fever” John Deere Bounces Itself To Death!

The amount of forces present in a tractor pull pass is incredible…there might not be a replacement for being on the starting line of a dragstrip when two Top Fuelers launch, but I’ll argue that watching a tractor going into full beserk mode while dragging the sled is a very close second. A good pull is a work of art that comes courtesy of a perfect mechanical harmony…but what you’ll see is what happens when the band and just about everything else jumps out of time. The “Buck Fever” John Deere Super Farm Tractor class machine was making a pull in Wisconsin when it went into a wheels-up situation. This is pretty normal and nothing to get excited over. But it comes down hard and bounces back up, and you can see that the weight on the front becomes an issue for the chassis. On the second landing the weights on the front end appear to dig into the earth and the whole shebang goes very, very wrong. Luckily, driver Bill Preuss walked away from this deal, but the whole incident is slowed down, so you can see just how violent of a ride he took. Check it out below:
