There are people in the industry who are simply above and beyond in their respective fields. Lohnes can announce, Chad can work a crowd, I can…um…(crap)…uh, drive long distances, and the man who owns this Datsun Z is an absolute magician with a camera. Larry Chen is a photography genius, whose work has been featured in just about any and everything I can think of off of the top of my head. Doesn’t matter if it’s still or moving, lowrider or off-roader, wherever in the world…he can make it look like a million bucks. And he’s naturally a car guy too…you can’t photograph cars for a living and be successful at it without having a little bit of the sickness yourself.
The 240Z fits Larry’s style to a “T”…which means it’s fluid and blends in well anywhere. It sounds the business, it lays rubber nicely, and we love it. Which makes us cringe when Larry tries to whip donuts in front of the garage at Hoonigan’s HQ. That’s a narrow-ass patch of asphalt, fellas, and that’s a small car having some trouble there. But Larry certainly gives it a shot!
