Iowa. What do we know about the state? Well, we know that Kevin and Mook from Junkyard Digs call the state their home. We know that there’s corn…lots and lots of corn. We know that there is a lot of open space to play with. And we know that the Ice Cream Cruise turns I29 Dragway in Pacific Junction into one major car event. With a skid pad, a burnout contest, drag racing, roll racing, and the miles upon miles of show vehicles, the Ice Cream Cruise is one of the largest shows in that local area. And it’s even got a philanthropical point…this year over $90,000 dollars was raised for Least of my Bretheren, a homeless outreach program. Because you needed a reason to come out on a sunny weekend and check out a huge field full of killer machines, right?

The 1320Video crew are closely tied to the Ice Cream Cruise, since Nebraska is about as close to Iowa as you can get without being in the same state, and filmed many aspects of the show, from the dyno challenge to everyone trying to escape the blistering heat thanks to a loose garden hose. If you can’t find something here you like, you aren’t looking hard enough. From mini-trucks to some absolutely nasty street players, you could find it at the Ice Cream Cruise. Think you missed out?
