In Part 1 I mentioned how it seems like everyone loves a VW Bug, from adults to children, there has just always been this universal love for this cute little machine. And once it came to the United States, American’s were in love. Sure, some folks take it to another level, and those are the people we’re going to be talking about here, but if ever there was a universally liked car, this is one of them.
As soon as they could, car guys and gals started customizing them in every way. In fact, the VW bug became so synonymous with customization, that I’m not sure there is any way that one hasn’t been customized. Every style, every use, ever segment of the market, they covered it all.
In this Influence and Impact episode, Marcel and Jason are going to talk about Baja Bugs, the famed Meyers Manx, and the history of the Volksrod.
